The Pucciarelli Group

Thursday 5th March 2020

Tickets: £15.00 Seat

Doors: 7.00pm

Show: 8.00pm-10.00pm

The Pucciarelli Group, will be making their third Hampstead Jazz Club appearance by presenting their latest release ‘Feel Free To Feel Free‘. Led by virtuoso guitarist Giuseppe Pucciarelli, this superb quintet features recent graduates of the prestigious Guildhall School Of Music and are a collective of some of the most masterful up and coming musicians of today.

The band is very much inspired by the music of Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, and Keith Jarrett, to name but a few, even though artists such as John Parricelli, Mike Walker, Peter Bernstein & Kurt Rosenwinkel have been described as being Giuseppe’s main inspirations at this point in his career.

Shining new light through old windows, their main influences may be decidedly old-school, yet this barnstorming band somehow manage to sound utterly contemporary.

A concert not to be missed!!

Giuseppe Pucciarelli is a jazz guitarist and composer.

Giuseppe has been playing the guitar since the age of five when his father bought him a classical guitar for his birthday. From the age of 10, Pucciarelli received classical guitar lessons. A few years later, keen to further his expertise in advanced jazz improvisation and composition, he decided to go further with the music studies and, as a result, he moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music.

Shortly thereafter, he started to perform in the city’s most prestigious Jazz Club’s – Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express whilst teaching all aspects of Music Theory, Jazz Harmony, Improvisation and Composition.

Pucciarelli’s high level of motivation led him to record his first original album ‘Shall We Say It Is Worth” at the age of 23. His new album is entitled ‘Feel Free To Feel Free’ (2019) and sees him expand the group from Quartet to Quintet.
