Hampstead Jazz Club Presents – Low Trees

A unique up and coming modern jazz quartet that fuse instrumental and electronic sounds with neo-soul and Latin influence in North London’s music scene.

Low Trees are a collective of session musicians and music producers who originally met on the Brighton music scene.

The foursome – made up of members Alby Daniels (Keys/Synth), Luke Stone (Guitarist), John Wright (Bass/Bass synth) and Aramis Gorriette (Drums) – came together in 2019 to create the successful monthly North London jam night, known as the ‘The Bakery’, which gradually lead to developing their own unique compositions beyond improvisations and jam sessions.

From diverse musical backgrounds, each member brings their own creative song-writing style to the project, shaping its individual and eclectic sound.

Influenced by the likes of The Cinematic Orchestra, Portico Quartet, D’Angelo, Robert Glasper and Radiohead, they create original soundscapes delivered with skilled musicianship and a laid-back attitude that make their live shows a memorable experience.

Line-up:

Alby Daniels – Keys/Synth
Luke Stone – Guitar
John Wright – Bass/Bass synth
Aramis Gorriette – Drums
