The critically acclaimed Alexander Bryson Trio come to Hampstead Jazz Club with a new repertoire of tunes spanning French Chanson, Bebop, Afro-Cuban folk songs, and The Blues.

This trio have performed in many of the UKs top jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s, PizzaExpress Soho, The Verdict Brighton, and have backed up a number of the UK’s finest soloists including Steve Fishwick, Allison Neale, Mark Kavuma and Sara DiLecce.

Alexander Bryson is a leading British jazz pianist based in London, who has performed at prestigious venues like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Blues Alley, and the 606 Jazz Club, and various jazz festivals. He is in demand as a sideman and has worked with several renowned jazz artists such as Grant Stewart, Chris Cheek, Alex Garnett, Steve Fishwick, Ossian Roberts, Allison Neal, Benoit Viellefon and many others.

Bryson initially trained in classical piano and received his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College of Music in London. He later pursued a Masters degree in classical performance in New York City, while attending workshops and lessons with notable jazz musicians. His first work as a jazz musician was in the Marie-Claire Giraud Quintet, alongside Dwayne Clemons, Murray Wall and Luke Decker. Bryson debuted as a jazz pianist in the Marie-Claire Giraud Quintet and has since performed at several venues, including Arturo’s, The Metropolitan Room, and Blues Alley.

Recently, he released his debut album, ‘The Alexander Bryson Trio’ on Hard Bop Records, which was launched at a sold-out show at Soho’s PizzaExpress Jazz Club.

Please note, The Club is not licensed to allow access to Children under the age of 16 after 9pm, so for evening performances, please do not book tickets for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16 and above are welcome at any time.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

For £15.00 Tickets:

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please NOTE, there is NO food served in the Jazz Club, there is a bar for drinks. We advise booking a table for dinner at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs at least 1hr before show-time – Book Here 

Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
