Palmas Sound is the new project from Spanish singer and songwriter Monica Guech, which offers a live experience where soul and jazz meet Flamenco, elevating music to another level. Her exceptional 3-piece band perform a setlist of songs with distinct and unique arrangements, creating a fusion of different music worlds. These songs are a collection of timeless classics and original songs performed with a fresh and exciting fusion that you’ve never heard before. 

Palmas Sound’s purpose is to make an unforgettable music experience. 

MONICA GUECH

Monica Guech was born in Liverpool in 1986. At the age of 12, Monica started her musical journey by taking vocal technique and piano lessons. By the time she was 14, she started composing her own songs, attending the Modern Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona and performing in different Gospel Choirs touring around Spain.

London based Spanish/soul vocalist and composer Monica Guech, uses her soulful compositions in a personal way to express her emotions, which is reflected in her lyrics. . Her many solo performances and appearances on radio and television entertainment shows like Eurovision Song Contest and The Voice, led to national attention. Monica released her debut album ‘Soulove’ in 2015.

The album features Pop, Soul and R&B music. Monica collaborated with Temps Record to release her first Catalan song ‘HUMANITAT‘, a hymn to humanity, a hymn for love and inspiration to be who we want to be. Currently, Monica is promoting her music project performing a collection of timeless songs and creating a unique fusion of different worlds Soul, Jazz and Flamenco.

Please note, The Club is not licensed to allow access to Children under the age of 16 after 9pm, so for evening performances, please do not book tickets for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16 and above are welcome at any time.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

For £15.00 Tickets:

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please NOTE, there is NO food served in the Jazz Club, there is a bar for drinks. We advise booking a table for dinner at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs at least 1hr before show-time – Book Here 

Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
