Anna Ross

Born in London and raised in Newcastle, singer-songwriter Anna Ross has spent the last decade as Duran Duran’s backing vocalist, singing to tens of thousands of people in sold-out arena tours around the world.

Previously a backing vocalist for Lisa Stansfield, Stereophonics, Tom Jones, Sting, and Tina Turner, she has also released material under her own name and is now exploring her love of jazz with pianist/arranger Alex Webb. With Alex Webb (piano), Michele Montoli (bass) and Alfonso Vitale (drums), she will be picking her favourites from the jazz and American songbook canon.

Alex Webb is a songwriter, arranger and pianist. His songs have been recorded by jazz singers China Moses, Mina Agossi, Sandra Nkake, Liane Carroll, Allan Harris, Alexia Gardner and Alexander Stewart, among others. His show ‘Cafe Society Swing’ has enjoyed several theatre runs in London and one in New York, where he received the New York Times ‘Critic’s Pick’.
