NOEMI NUTI

Born and raised in New York with Italian roots, Noemi Nuti is a jazz vocalist and composer who now calls London her home. Delving into classical harp at Brunel University and jazz improvisation at Trinity College of Music, she graduated with an MA in Jazz Performance in 2012. Noemi’s journey began with Tomorrow’s Warriors ‘Jazz Alive’ project in 2008, leading to collaborations with esteemed groups like NYJO and the London Vocal Project. She gained further recognition as the lead singer for Rhythms of the City, a samba band, before venturing into her solo career.

In 2015, Noemi released her debut album, “Nice to Meet You” which garnered widespread acclaim and extensive airplay, including being A-listed on Jazz FM. Her musical trajectory led her to pay tribute to Milton Nascimento’s music at Pizza Express Jazz Club in 2017, where she collaborated with pianist sensation Liam Noble and saxophonist Jean Toussaint. After touring her debut album and supporting Marcos Valle, she joined Andrew McCormack’s Graviton from 2018 to 2019, touring the UK and internationally.

“A true star in the making. Noemi has grace, style and elegance, but most important of all her voice illuminates any room. A must to see.” Alex Lloyd, Jazz FM

ANDREW McCORMACK

Meanwhile, Andrew McCormack, a prolific pianist and composer, has carved a diverse international career with performances at major festivals and concert halls worldwide. With critically acclaimed albums like “Telescope” “First Light” and “Terra Firma,” McCormack’s innovative compositions and virtuosic playing have earned him widespread acclaim. Notably, his collaboration with saxophonist Jason Yarde resulted in the duo’s acclaimed releases, including “MY DUO” and “Places And Other Spaces.”

In 2017, McCormack launched Graviton, a project exploring a groove-based sound closer to prog-jazz, culminating in their 2019 album “Graviton: The Calling.” Additionally, McCormack’s interest in classical composition has led to commissions from prestigious ensembles like the London Symphony Orchestra, showcasing his versatility and creativity across genres.

Together, Noemi Nuti and Andrew McCormack form a dynamic duo that blends their individual talents seamlessly. Their performances are marked by a rich tapestry of original compositions, reimagined classics, and thrilling improvisations. Whether enchanting audiences with Noemi’s soulful vocals and harp or Andrew’s virtuosic piano playing, their partnership is a testament to the transformative power of music. With each note, they invite listeners on a journey of exploration and discovery, creating moments of pure magic wherever they perform.
