Following their popular sell-out show in February this year, London-based jazz band Luminoso return to The Hampstead Jazz Club stage, for another unforgettable evening of music, glamour, and artistry.
Don’t miss this extraordinary evening of world-class artistry—get your tickets now, if you missed out last time!
Having enchanted audiences across Ireland, Spain, and Turkey—including a sold-out performance at Istanbul’s legendary Nardis Jazz Club—Luminoso is thrilled to return to Hampstead Jazz Club, bringing their signature international flair for a night you won’t forget.
Led by LA-born pianist and songwriter Brian Clemens and Milan-born vocalist Francesca Confortini, one of London’s premier jazz vocalists who has shared the stage with Cat Stevens and Rod Stewart, Luminoso have built a devoted following across the UK & Europe, performing at iconic rooms including London’s Wilton’s Music Hall, Barcelona’s Jamboree, Berlin’s B-flat, and Istanbul’s Nardis Jazz Club.
Their set draws on the timeless charm of the Great American Songbook through their own catchy original songs, reimagined Latin and R&B material, and the warmth of vintage Italian swing. Combining playful cabaret charm with jazz artistry, theirs is a nostalgic sound that feels new yet effortlessly familiar, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats and, at times, on the dance floor.
EarMilk calls it “an exuberant triumph that breathes new life into jazz-pop fusion.”
Brian Clemens:
Brian Clemens is a Los Angeles-born jazz pianist, arranger, and bandleader based in London. A graduate student of Bill Cunliffe — pianist for Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich and a Grammy Award-winner, he has headlined venues across the US and Europe as both a solo artist and ensemble leader.
Brian leads Luminoso as pianist, songwriter, and music director, a group that has built a strong following across Europe through engaging live sets and melodic original writing.
He also directs the Brian Clemens Big Band, currently touring UK theatres with Songs of the Silver Screen and The Transatlantic Songbook, and holds residencies at three of London’s most iconic hotels: The Ritz, The Dorchester, and The Peninsula.
Francesca Confortini
Italian-born jazz vocalist Francesca Confortini brings her soulful tone to every performance. With a background in musical theatre and international experience as a singer for the likes of Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), along with work with gypsy-jazz ensembles Trio Manouche and Gypsy Dynamite as well as her trio Jazz Silhouettes, she exudes sophistication and warmth in everything she does. A versatile vocalist capable of moving from her neo-jazz originals to interpretation of the American Songbook classics Francesca is without doubt “one to watch”!
