Hampstead Jazz Club is proud to be one of the venue partners of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2021. From 12^th – 20^th November, we will be presenting an exciting mix of superb music, showcasing an eclectic array of world class artists in the intimate setting of the capital’s coolest new jazz club.

Luis Morais

Brazilian composer, arranger and 7-string guitarist Luiz Morais presents his second album ‘In the Weave‘. At the cutting edge of Brazilian Jazz, this is the work of a rare melodist, drawing from the Brazilian tradition forged by the likes of Tom Jobim, Baden Powell and Moacir Santos, whilst weaving new threads and connections to contemporary Jazz.

Expect intricate, thrilling arrangements built around the rhythmical force of the Brazilian guitar tradition that push the players to their edge.
