Hampstead Jazz Club in partnership with PizzaExpress Live, proudly present Detroit Jazz and Soul Artist Kathy Kosins with the Paul Edis Trio.

Performing the repertoire  from Kosins’ many recordings, with the emphasis on her modern exploration of The West Coast Cool Movement from her critically acclaimed album ‘To The Ladies Of Cool’, a celebration of the artistry of Anita O’Day, Chris Connor, Julie London and June Christy, while also weaving in her jazz infused soul originals, from her 2018, critically acclaimed album, ‘Uncovered Soul’ performed acoustically. With 6 albums and 10 singles released worldwide and having performed at jazz festivals and prestigious clubs globally, Kosins is thrilled to present this sophisticated material, heretofore never performed live in the UK.

Joined by ‘One of the leading lights of contemporary jazz’, as described by LondonJazz, pianist and composer Paul Edis who has assembled a line-up of multiple award-winning musicians to perform joyful, melodic, and swinging music.
