Tonight as Jo’s special guest, Tony Remy brings his magic to the stage in a rare performance between them both. The pair will play some much loved songs from the jazz, blues and soul world, in an intimate duet performance at the cosy Hampstead Jazz Club.

Jo Harrop Presents Tony Remy, one of the worlds greatest and most versatile guitar players, with one of the most impressive CVs out there. Tony has been chosen to play with the likes of Annie Lennox, Simply Red, Gary Barlow, Jack Bruce, Craig David, Glenn Hughes; the leading artists from the rock and pop world and from the Jazz, Funk and Soul world, he’s played with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Pee Wee Ellis, The (Jazz) Crusaders, Matt Bianco, Incognito and many more.

Tony has played the biggest stadiums in the world including Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium and Live 8. In the industry he’s known as “The guitarists’ guitar player.” Listen to find out how Tony went from one of the poorest areas of London to playing the recorder to becoming a flute prodigy to being one of the most sought after guitarists in the world.

JO HARROP

Jo Harrop has firmly established herself as one of the most distinctive singer songwriters in British jazz. Having signed to Lateralize Records, she recently made her USA debut with a string of shows at some of the most prestigious venues in the country including New York’s Dizzy’s Club (Jazz at Lincoln Center) and San Francisco’s The SFJAZZ Center. After releasing her debut LP, Weathering The Storm, Harrop burst into the spotlight with a pair of critically-acclaimed, award-winning albums, The Heart Wants and When Winter Turns To Spring, attracting widespread airplay and an eclectic array of highly respected admirers including Iggy Pop, Christian McBride and Chris Seefried.

Please note, The Club is not licensed to allow access to Children under the age of 16 after 9pm, so for evening performances, please do not book tickets for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16 and above are welcome at any time.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

For £15.00 Tickets:

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please NOTE, there is NO food served in the Jazz Club, there is a bar for drinks. We advise booking a table for dinner at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs at least 1hr before show-time – Book Here 

Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
