Jo Harrop presents an evening of jazz with Internationally acclaimed clarinetist, Adrian Cox and pianist Joe Webb. The trio will play some of the finest jazz songs written, from the great American Songbook & beyond, as well as some beautifully crafted originals. Three individually very special performers joining forces in the intimacy of The Hampstead Jazz Club – a night not to be missed.

Internationally acclaimed jazz clarinetist Adrian Cox at age 39 is certainly performing at the top of his game. He is one of the leading exponents of New Orleans clarinet and has a huge wealth of knowledge for the music and the players of the era.

Adrian’s unrivalled feel and virtuosity for the music he plays has led to concerts with the biggest names in jazz including two concerts with ‘Wynton Marsalis‘ and the ‘Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra‘ both in London and New York. Adrian spends the majority of his life on tour around world and at the time of writing this, has already performed in 27 countries in 2022.

Jo Harrop is fast rising as the jazz songstress everyone is talking about, as she continues her successful tour whilst beginning to collaborate with some of the biggest name in the world of jazz today in addition to the release of 2 successful albums.
Born in Durham and raised on a heady musical diet of Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin, Jo Harrop moved to London and quickly established herself as one of themost unmistakable voices in British jazz.
Having been signed to London-based jazz label Lateralize Records, Jo released ‘Weathering The Storm‘, her debut album with guitarist, Jamie McCredie.
The second release of ‘The Heart Wants‘, received rapturous reviews from The Times to The Guardian, and has also become the choice new album for many radio stations being played extensively on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Jazz FM and is currently riding high in the US Jazz Album Charts.

JOE WEBB

Joe Webb is a highly regarded pianist and a leading force on the U.K jazz scene today. He grew up in Wales before moving to London in 2013, where he has been active ever since.

Joe regularly performs around Europe, and has played in venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Royal Albert Hall, Dizzys jazz club N.Y, KoKo, and the CCB Lisboa.

Along with his trio, Joe can be heard with the Acclaimed Webb City, Kansas Smitty’s, Adrian Cox & Rob Luft as well as working with Jamie Cullum and many more artists.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please NOTE, there is NO food served in the Jazz Club, there is a bar for drinks. We advise booking a table for dinner at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs at least 1hr before show-time – Book Here

Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
