Hampstead Jazz Club and Lateralize Records are delighted to announce that Jo Harrop and pianist Paul Edis will be releasing a very special five track “Christmas EP” and playing an exclusive show at London’s Hampstead Jazz Club on 25th November 2022.

They will be performing a selection of Christmas classics and a handful of songs from their hugely-anticipated forthcoming album “When Winter Turns To Spring”, which will be released in December 2022.

Produced by Jamie McCredie and recorded at London’s Gorilla Studios. During the sessions for “When Winter Turns To Spring”, The Christmas EP features a newly written song by Paul Edis alongside a magical mix of festive favourites.

The Christmas EP includes two completely different takes on the traditional carol, ‘O Holy Night’ – one jazzy and one Acapella, a poignant string-laden version of ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’, which was originally recorded by Bing Crosby and then Elvis Presley, a beautiful reworking of ‘The Christmas Song’, which was first released by Nat King Cole in 1946, and a future yuletide classic, ‘On Christmas Day’, which was written by Paul Edis and Kate Edis.
