Our esteemed Musical Director brings his critically-acclaimed collaboration to Hampstead Jazz Club.

Following the release of their debut album  in February 2020 ‘What’s New’ (featuring Iain Ballamy), Safir and Shaw appear tonight as a duo taking you through charming and honest interpretations of great songs of the jazz age – including songs by Michel Legrand, Burt Bacharach, Rodgers & Hart and Jobim amongst many more.

He has been cited, along with Mark Murphy and Kurt Elling, as one of the world’s finest male jazz vocalists.

JAMIE SAFIR

Pianist Jamie Safir has worked with some of the finest jazz vocalists around including Claire Martin, Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll, Natalie Williams to name a few. Jamie is much in demand as a keyboard player and accompanist and also works regularly with Pop-Star Will Young as well as touring Europe and the UK with highly-acclaimed Judi Jackson as her MD.

He was a keyboardist in the hit 2017 musical Bat Out Of Hell and is currently Musical Director for Patti Boulaye and working on ‘The Sweetest Sounds of Rogers and Hart’ featuring Claire Moore & Robert Meadmore.

Please note, The Club is not licensed to allow access to Children under the age of 16 after 9pm, so for evening performances, please do not book tickets for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16 and above are welcome at any time. No dogs allowed in the Jazz Club.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

For £15.00 Tickets:

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please NOTE, there is NO food served in the Jazz Club, there is a bar for drinks. We advise booking a table for dinner at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs at least 1hr before show-time – Book Here
