Hampstead Jazz Club in partnership with PizzaExpress Live, proudly presents The Soul Immigrants, Hailing from South London fine purveyors of energetic Soul, Jazz Funk (& beyond) A four piece funk engine masterminded by Nitin Sawhney ( before his solo career) and singer/guitarist Emrys Baird. Expect hot solos & fireworks and some audience participation because it’s party time!

They have been plying their trade ever since releasing their critically acclaimed ‘Bank From The Brink ‘ in 2020 on leading U.K. label Lateralize Records and putting out 45 singles on their own label .Their last vinyl single featured The JB’s maestro Fred Wesley and was played heavily by Gilles Peterson and Craig Charles. Their current single ‘Blame It On The Endgame’ is also garnering critical acclaim and being played by Jazz FM and BBC6Music. Be prepared for a wonderfully textured, well-crafted and interesting mix from some of London’s most experienced musicians.
