The Hampstead Jazz Club, opened in Nov 2018 and is the best new live music venue in north London, proud to be hosting intimate live performances 3-4 nights a week from an eclectic mix of established musicians, as well as exciting emerging talent. HJC continues to push the boundaries by offering a spectrum of musical diversity within its synonymous atmospheric intimate setting, giving the audience an authentic up close and personal live music experience.

This dynamic evening of the best of the best will feature:

ALEX WEBB – Pianist/Composer/Arranger

Seasoned pianist/composer Alex Webb has been HJC’s most profound pianist, accompanying many of the best UK Jazz female vocalists in a host of repeat sold-out shows at the club.  His immeasurable talent and vast passion for reworking the classics from that golden bygone era of Jazz to captivate today’s audience creates a musical juxtaposition of Jazz from yesteryear meeting Jazz of today.

CIYO BROWN – AWARD-WINNING GUITARIST & MD

A celebration wouldn’t be a celebration without the inimitable award-winning guitarist Ciyo Brown.  Ciyo’s contribution to the club and outstanding musicianship has drawn audiences to multiple evenings featuring unique artists, musicians and diverse music genres. Always re-inventing and pioneering jazz/reggae fusions with several albums under his belt, we at HJC are proud to include Ciyo as part of our HJC resident musical family.

JO HARROP – British Jazz/Popular Music Vocalist

Velvet-toned Jo has been on fast forward as one of the UK’s most renowned and popular Jazz vocalists on the scene.  Performing to sell-out shows at HJC and all the London top Jazz Venues, Jo’s jazz sensibility and silky smooth delivery transports audiences to a magical place.  Effortless and always classy, Jo’s vocal essence and timbre is a beautiful blend of tones akin to the sultry Sarah Vaughan and mellow Diane Krall.
