Georgina Jackson is a world-renowned Jazz Vocalist and award-winning trumpet player and is joined for her very first visit to HJC by our esteemed musical director and pianist extraordinaire, Jamie Safir.

Originally hailing from Wigan, Georgina has astounded critics and audiences all over the world including stunning performances at Ronnie Scotts (as resident singer with the RS Jazz Orchestra), Friday Night Is Music Night Live on BBC Radio 2 and as one of the headline performers at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Hollywood.

In 2012 her second album ‘Watch What Happens’ shot to the top of the iTunes Jazz Charts and later that year, the BBC Big Band asked Georgina to perform a concert of the songs of Peggy Lee that was broadcast live on BBC Radio 2. Georgina now works internationally as a cabaret artiste performing her entertaining trumpet/vocal shows on the world’s most prestigious cruise lines. She is also to be found singing with the Echoes of Ellington Big Band and is in great demand performing up and down the country with her trio show and with guest soloist and workshop dates with Big bands both here and In Europe.
