Musical Director at Hampstead Jazz Club for over 7 years Jamie Safir, is now in residence every Wednesday at the fabulous new Ronnie Scott’s Upstairs Club, where he hosts a double show every week, followed by a jazz jam session which is where he met the breath-takingly gifted vocalist Emmanuel. Catch Jamie in this intimate setting before it’s too late!
Tonight is the first collaboration of many, and The Hampstead Jazz Club is thrilled to welcome Jamie back to our stage with the incredible Emmanuel, who is set to rise in stardom as a serious vocalist of the future.

Pianist, Keyboardist, Songwriter and Musical-Director Jamie Safir is in high demand across the UK and Europe and has worked with some of the finest names in jazz and pop music.
His performance credits include: Will Young, Birdy, Olly Murs, Rebecca Ferguson, Mica Paris, The Brand New Heavies, Steps, Louise Redknapp, Paul Heaton (The Beautiful South), Gabrielle Aplin, Tony Hadley & Tony Christie.
As a prominent member of the UK Jazz Scene he has worked with: Ian Shaw, Clare Teal, Judi Jackson, Claire Martin OBE, Liane Carroll, Joe Stilgoe, Iain Ballamy, Stan Sulzmann, Barb Jungr & Natalie Williams.

EMMANUEL AYENI
Emmanuel Ayeni is an incredibly gifted young jazz and soul singer, whose rich voice seamlessly blends gospel traditions with deep, contemporary R&B grooves. Heavily influenced by legends such as Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau and D’Angelo, he delivers velvet-smooth melodies and raw, emotive storytelling. Whether performing intimate standards or high-energy originals, Emmanuel brings a fresh, captivating vitality to the modern stage.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
