Paul Edis – MD/Pianist
Brilliant young pianist’ and composer Paul Edis is rooted in the straight-ahead swinging tradition, but always seeking out and exploring new sounds. Nobody sounds quite like him or transports you to the places he travels to with his music. Simultaneously soothing and stirring, rapturous yet relaxed, Edis is a natural melodist who finds the emotional resonance
of every note.

Jo Harrop – Vocals
Resident artist at HJC and 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Award nominee for Best Vocalist of Year. Singer and songwriter Jo has been garnering a lot of attention for her smoky, intimate voice and heartfelt, intelligent lyrics.

The extraordinary voice of Jo Harrop, beautiful, sublime, spine-tingling – what a voice!” Jo Whiley 2021

Vimala Rowe – Guest Vocalist

Vimala Rowe, renowned recluse but party to an abundance of musical projects such as a highly successful duo with guitar legend John Etheridge of original world and Jazz inspirations, writing songs and performing with flamenco legend Paco Pena at Sadlers Wells, sellout shows at Ronnie Scott’s honouring Billie Holiday where she began this journey performing jazz with the late Bobby Wellins. Always inspiring critical acclaim, Vimala’s performances are never less than expressive, engaging, sensational and this evening will showcase some of her favourite jazz songs from her extensive repertoire.

There is no doubt Rowe is one of the most distinctive singers to come along in quite some time’. – The Sunday Times

‘… a singer of quite astonishing versatility and adaptability… a compelling stage presence, and savvy to burn’ – London Jazz News
