EFG live is back for 2022 and The Hampstead Jazz Club is a proud supporter of this important musical event every November, bringing you a stellar line-up of events!
Jeremy is one of the UK’s most in-demand singer/pianists. Either solo, or accompanied by his band, he captivates audiences with his natural, soulful voice, his charismatic personality and his arrangements of jazz, blues, groove and soul classics. He is also known as an engaging front man with an inimitable style.
Jeremy has headlined sell out shows at Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Soho, the 606 Club and the Jazz Café. He has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival, The Iridium Jazz Club in New York and headlines twice a year at Berlin’s premier jazz club The “A Trane”.
For 10 years he has been the UK’s foremost artist tributing the music of Ray Charles with his big band “The Ray Charles Project”. It was with this band that he graced the main stage at the renowned Love Supreme Festival 2019 with this band alongside Lauryn Hill & Jamie Cullum.
In 2014, his version of the beautiful Marc Cohn song “The Things We’ve Handed Down” was featured on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs as the castaway’s favourite and then hit number 1 in the iTunes vocal download chart.
His 2018 album “Jeremy Sassoon & Friends Live” was nominated as one of the best albums of 2018 in renowned German jazz publication “Jazzthetik”.
Luke Tomlinson has begun to firmly establish himself as one of the most in demand young musicians in London, playing regularly with internationally renown Jazz artists such as Claire Martin OBE, Ray Gelato, Clare Teal and Alex Bone. Alongside his Jazz career, Luke also has a strong footprint in the Pop industry, performing with NYM, Caleb Hawley and Rory Simmons. Luke passes on his Luke-ness to lucky students at the Royal Academy of Music and King’s College London
Flo Moore is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. She has performed with many established artists, such as Jordan Rakei, Jason Rebello, Pete King, Paul Booth,Gene Calderazzo, Zoe Rahman. She has recorded on tracks featuring Frank Gambale, Chad Wackerman and Barry Finnerty (Miles Davis, Brecker Brothers), and worked with Grammy award winning producer Jason Miles (Chaka Khan, Miles Davis).

This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
