Cookey’s new EP traverses stories of love, passion and protest. Inspired by his own experiences and world events, he has artfully crafted uplifting songs that reflect the complexities of life and call for change. Cookey’s rich melodic sound is pure neo-blues jazz. With an incredible range his voice undulates between silky smooth and raw power.
Sodi Cookey is an established UK artist whose music is a fusion of Soul, Jazz and Blues.
London born, Cookey spent much of his childhood growing up in the musical melting pot of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. His signature sound, charisma and energy captivate audiences. Be prepared for an amazing musical journey that delights and surprises with the powerhouse that is Cookey.
A self-confessed music junkie his influences are diverse and eclectic, His powerful songs are a unique blend of Neo Blues Jazz.
