Legendary award-winning guitarist Ciyo Brown teams up with former Osibisa frontman Gregg Kofi Brown to perform an eclectic mix of songs he sang and recorded with jazz greats Billy Cobham & Stanley Jordan, rock icon Sting and his legendary afrobeat band Osibisa. Added to this rich mix will be some well known jazz standards.

Gregg Kofi Brown has been a member of the world class African pioneers OSIBISA for over 34 years and has travelled all over the world promoting the music of Ghana. Recent years has seen Gregg Kofi Brown & Osibisa support Santana on his European tour, play the prestigious Byron Bay Blues Festival and make several tours to India. His live set will consist of Afro beat, African jazz and Afro\Latin pop classics.

Brown’s innate musical prowess as a long standing diverse Artist, excites audiences around the globe with his electric performances blending African, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Funk and Dance rhythms for a truly spectacular experience.

Singer/songwriter guitarist Gregg Kofi Brown is best known for his international hits like ‘Shadow’ recorded with Billy Cobham, ‘Lullaby to an Anxious Child’ recorded with Sting and the dance favourite ‘Sunshine Day’ recorded with Osibisa.

Brown’s critically acclaimed live shows has seen him perform from Siberia to Los Angeles…. from Rome to Cape Town and beyond. His jazz funk afro beat style has inspired many musicians and artist all over the world. His collaborations with the likes of Stanley Jordan, Des’ree, Gabrielle and Patti Austin are legendary.

His contribution to 3 Billy Cobham albums has cemented an enduring friendship with this drum icon and composer. But it’s Gregg Kofi Brown’s energy during his live performance that gets the audience’s body moving to rhythms you can’t sit down to listen to. So bring your dancing shoes because it’s going to be an African party!!!

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.

This is a fully seated event.  Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
