Drawing inspiration from artists like Ambrose Akinmusire, Brad Mehldau, Bon Iver, and Lizzy McAlpine, his music moves between delicate introspection and powerful, high-energy improvisation. TRISTAN WILLS
Tristan Wills is a distinguished jazz pianist and composer, recently relocated from Perth, Western Australia to the vibrant city of London. With over a decade of professional experience, Tristan has captivated audiences across the globe, performing in renowned cities such as Paris, Spain, London, Germany, Melbourne, and Perth.
A versatile musician, Tristan has an impressive discography that includes six recorded albums. His projects span a variety of genres, showcasing his adaptability and broad musical expertise. Notable albums include ‘The Genesis Project‘ (a jazz quintet exploring the biblical story of Genesis), ‘Internal Dialogue‘ (a reflective jazz quartet), ‘Losing What’s Not Mine‘ (a soulful singer songwriter album accompanied by strings), and ‘Misc‘ (a solo jazz piano album).
Tristan’s compositions are known for their sensitivity, freedom, and innovative improvisational avenues. His music is deeply influenced by luminaries such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Walter Smith III, Avishai Cohen, Aaron Parks, Bon Iver, Ben Howard, and Lizzy McAlpine. These influences shape his unique sound, which blends traditional jazz with modern contemporary elements, creating a captivating and dynamic listening experience.
Now based in London, Tristan is excited to bring his exceptional improvisational skills, creative compositions, and engaging performances to new audiences. Known for his professionalism, organisation, and collaborative spirit, Tristan is a sought-after pianist whose performances promise to bring class and elegance to any event.

This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
