TRISTAN – NEW ALBUM TOUR ‘FROU FROU’
Frou-Frou, our 8th studio album, is the 8th chapter already in our quite productive recording existence. FROU-FROU has been released 4TH APRIL 2025.
Frou-Frou is Tristan’s 8th full studio album. Frou-Frou in our case symbolizes fanciness in our music, with the fine combination of creativity and dedication. After all, we feel more comfortable and stronger as a band than ever.
We have tried our best once again, and have put in the extra effort and foremost joy of writing and recording new material.
The TRISTAN ‘core’ of the band (drummer Sebastiaan / bassist Frans and keyboardist Coen) have always been keen on inviting different singers throughout the years. That won’t be any different on the new upcoming album ‘Frou-Frou‘.
This time we teamed up with Irma Derby, who has, besides an amazing stage presence, been vocally compared to Randy Crawford, Chaka Kahn, and Donna Summer. Also guitar-hero Glenn Black is added to the new Tristan line-up.
The compositions are fun to play live, with plenty of space to evolve as we go. This has been a crucial part of our style, in order to make each and every concert excitingly unique. Together we’ve been to so many parts of the world already. Not only anticipating our return to London with great excitement, we are eager to expand that incredible adventure.
With over 80 concerts, around our previous album ‘SEVEN‘, we are so happy to announce ‘Tristan tour dates‘ coming up from April 2025. To celebrate our 8th album ‘Frou-Frou‘ we will visit Poland, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Japan and the UK.
Deeply rooted influences of funk, soul, R&B and beyond.
You want to have a good time? We’ve got you covered.
“Frou-Frou as you can expect from the name is a sparkly affair! With stardust sprinkled over the tracks Tristan do what they do best with another funky soul laden album. Pulsating drum grooves, shimmering guitars, Coen’s keyboard magic and a fresh crystal clear voice from Irma Derby bringing a new shine to the band! ……….
