Thomas Gomez is a Paris-based alto saxophonist renowned for his exceptional bebop technique and vibrant contributions to jazz. Inspired by legends like Charlie Parker, he delivers intricate improvisations, lightning-fast runs, and a deep mastery of jazz harmony. A dynamic performer, Gomez captures the timeless essence of bebop while infusing it with a modern sensibility, captivating audiences across Paris’s thriving jazz scene. He has performed in the Greenwich sessions led by Luigi Grasso and is a key member of Zoot Collectif, a Paris-based ensemble known for pushing creative boundaries while staying rooted in jazz tradition.
Inspired by bebop legends like Charlie Parker, Gomez combines intricate improvisation, lightning-fast runs, and a deep understanding of jazz harmony. His playing reflects the timeless essence of bebop while embracing a modern sensibility, captivating audiences across Paris’s rich jazz culture.
A dynamic performer, Gomez has been featured in the Greenwich sessions led by Luigi Grasso and is a key member of Zoot Collectif, a Paris-based ensemble dedicated to pushing creative boundaries while staying rooted in jazz traditions. He has also collaborated with London-based guitarist Andrea Rinciari on ‘The Takeover‘, an album that serves as a creative bridge between the jazz scenes of Paris and London. This project highlights Gomez’s versatility and ability to connect with other leading artists in the international jazz community.

This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
