Hampstead Jazz Club in partnership with PizzaExpress Live proudly present  ‘One of the leading lights of contemporary jazz’, as described by LondonJazz, pianist and composer Paul Edis who has assembled a line-up of multiple award-winning musicians to perform joyful, melodic, and swinging music. Previously based in the Northeast of England, Edis released two albums with his first sextet and toured the UK. Now based in London, he is signed to the Lateralize label, and in 2021 released his critically acclaimed solo piano album The Still Point of the Turning World.He is a resident artist at Hampstead Jazz Club, and he works extensively alongside vocalist Jo Harrop as performer, composer, and musical director.

Since moving to London, Edis was inspired to write new music for a new line-up, including Freddie Gavita (trumpet/flugel) Vasilis Xenopoulos (tenor and soprano sax) Rory Ingham (trombone) Adam King (double bass) and Joel Barford (drums).
