For her very first performance at HJC, we are delighted to welcome the extraordinary Heidi Vogel, a world-renowned vocalist has performed with artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Thundercat, and Chick Corea, described by Jamie Cullum as having ‘an extraordinary voice…. an incredible range and such a texture.’
HEIDI VOGEL
Heidi Vogel has performed with The Cinematic Orchestra for almost 15 years, appeared live on Jimmy Kimmel show, The Royal Albert Hall, Montreaux Jazz festival and The Sydney opera house. Heidi appears on their new album released March 2019. She has performed and recorded with artists such as ESKA, Soweto Kinch, Cleveland Watkiss, Bobby McFerrin to name a few. Her solo album on Far Out Recordings, sees Heidi explore her passion for Brazilian composers. The album received excellent reviews internationally.
JAMIE SAFIR
Heidi will be joined on piano by our long-standing Musical Director Jamie Safir who is in high demand across the UK and Europe and has worked with some of the finest names in jazz and popular music. His performance credits include: Kylie Minogue, Will Young, Tom Walker, Birdy, Tony Hadley, Mica Paris, Olly Murs, Rebecca Ferguson, The Brand New Heavies, Steps, Louise, Paul Heaton, Gabrielle Aplin & Damian Lewis.
As a prominent member of the UK Jazz Scene he has worked with: Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Ian Shaw, Clare Teal, Judi Jackson, Claire Martin, Liane Carroll, Joe Stilgoe, Emma Smith, Iain Ballamy, Stan Sulzmann, Barb Jungr & Natalie Williams.

Seats are not numbered and you will be seated at available tables. Please note tables seat 4 people, so for bookings of less than 4 people, you will be seated and share a table for 4.
For £17.50 Tickets:
This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note the Jazz Club is situated in the basement of the Duke of Hamilton Pub and access is via a number of stairs. The nearest toilets are situated on the 1st floor of the Pub.
