Critically acclaimed emerging Jazz singer Dylan Ross and stellar quartet to debut at the Hampstead Jazz Club. Reviving the antiquity of live performance and celebrating the golden age of jazz, they perform unique renditions of beloved tunes and their original songs.

THE DYLAN ROSS JAZZ COLLECTIVE

The Dylan Ross Jazz Collective is comprised of some of the best professional musicians across London the South Coast. Reviving the antiquity of live performance and celebrating the golden age of jazz, they perform unique renditions of beloved tunes and their original material all flourished with a style synonymous with the jazz and swing giants such as Tony Bennet, Harry Connick Jr. and Chet Baker.

This gig at Hampstead Jazz Club marks an evolution for the band as they debut original songs written by Dylan Ross and Alex Webb.

Dylan is backed by a stellar line up of UK jazz titians and emerging talents: Simon Allen (Jamie Cullum, Incognito, Clark Tracey), Phil Doyle (Pee Wee Ellis, Claire Martin, Art Theman), George Balmont (Ivo Neame, Tony Kofi, Derick Nash), Simon Spies (Peter Long, Rob Barron, Tim Garland).

Male jazz singers are in a minority, so it’s always interesting to hear one, especially one who has the tone and phrasing of some of the very best from the past. If you like Sinatra, Tony Bennett and even Michael Buble, you can’t help but love Dylan Ross” ~ Paul Kelly, Chair of Jazz By The Sea, 2023
