Hampstead Jazz Club proudly presents the hotly anticipated 2025 season of The Snug Sessions at Bishop’s Court Farm, a series of very special shows featuring a line-up of some of the brightest stars in contemporary jazz, blues and soul.

Saxophonist Derek Nash, of the Jools Holland R&B Orchestra, accompanied by mesmeric vocalist, Noel McCalla (Derek’s long-time partner from “ The Wonder of Stevie” Show) will be performing a series of crowd-pleasing, spirit-lifting funk tunes and creating a night of foot-tapping, hand-clapping good times, including hits by Bill Withers, The Crusaders, The Average White Band, David Sanborn, Grover Washington Jnr, Herbie Hancock & the JBs.

Derek has played in Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra since 2004 and is also a member of the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion. He has won several British Jazz Awards throughout his career fronting Sax Appeal, his Acoustic Quartet and the funk band, Protect the Beat.

The all-star band features musicians whose credits include Bill Withers, The Bee Gees, Gary Moore and Boy George.
